Being prepared will allow you to be more productive while allowing for a better success rate. • One of the biggest keys is to have a plan in place to get you where you want to go when teaching elementary math. Many times people jump in with both feet not firmly planted on the ground, making it that much tougher to be a successful teacher. Always have a plan.
• Above all, do not get discouraged about the lack of progress. It will come in time. Just follow the plan you have outlined and success will come in big and small amounts.
